Membership
The MEF India offers membership to individuals (Indian Nationals) and institutions engaged or interested in empowerment of management, quality of management education and new knowldege and models that seeks corporate attention for current as well as future progression of management fraternity. Membership activities are guided and monitored by the Membership Committee of the Foundation’s Executive Council.
The subscription period for all categories of members of the foundation (except Life Members) is April 01 to March 31. This is irrespective of the date on which subscription was paid during the previous year. All membership (except Life Membership) has to be renewed every financial year. Members can also pay in advance for a period of five years to draw a 5% concession on membership fee payable.
The types of membership offered by the foundation are:
Life Membership
Life members will be offered to share and promote their own ideas and will get chance to contribute to current challenges of management in all the verticals/ grey areas identified by the foundation.
In addition, Life Members get chance to contribute and launch of new journal of the foundation and subsequently receive the foundation’s journal Management Empowerment, and are entitled to use the digital library/ depository of different classical and contemporary subjects/ disciplines of management by depositing a one time, refundable, non-interest bearing security deposit of Rs.5000/- [w.e.f. 1st July 2022 (except Life Members who are also Executive Council Members)]. By virtue of being members of the General Body, Life Members have the right to vote. They also have the privilege of attending the Institute’s Fellow Seminars. The Lifetime subscription fee is Rs.25,000/-.
Member
Members and Life Members form the General Body of the Foundation. They have the right to vote, and receive the foundation’s journal ‘Management Empowerment’. They can purchase digital resources from the digital library by depositing a one time, refundable, non-interest bearing security deposit of Rs.5,000/-(w.e.f. 1st July 2022). They also have the privilege of attending the Foundations’s Fellow/ Research Scholar Seminars. Subscription fee for this category is Rs.15,00/- a year.
Associate Membership
Associate Members can use the digital library and borrow articles, magazines or promotional books by depositing a one-time, refundable, non-interest bearing security deposit of Rs. 10,000/-(w.e.f. 1st July 2022). The subscription fee (mandatory) is Rs.5,00/- a year. To get copies of the Founation’s journal Management Empowerment, they are required to pay (additional) Rs. 500/- per annum.
Corporate Membership
A duly appointed representative of the Corporate (body) Member can allow to build up the model of management empowerment for India and share their contribution in the interest of empowerment of management functions through research and in search of new practices and use the foundation digital library and borrow e-books by depositing a one time, refundable, non-interest bearing security deposit of Rs.5,000/- (w.e.f. 1st July 2022). Annual subscription fee for this membership category is Rs.2,500/- for Government Establishment and Rs.1 Lac for Private Corporate. Corporate Members are entitled to contribute new research, special call for paper and receive the foundation’s journal Management Empowerment.
Special Corporate Membership is open to select categories of management institutions, non-governmental organisation of reputes and libraries. They are entitled to share and get chance to empowerment of management and contribute the foundation’s journal Management Empowerment. Annual subscription fee for this membership category is Rs. 1,000/-
Associate Corporate Membership is open to Business Development Cell/ top management of Corporate. Associate Corporate members receive the foundation’s journal — Management Empowerment. Annual subscription fee is Rs. 500/-.
Special Subscribers
This category is applicable only to serving management professionals working in Corporate at top management only. They receive the foundation’s journal Management Empowerment. They can also use the institute’s digital resources/ library and borrow interesting articles, journals and books by depositing a one-time, refundable, non-interest bearing security deposit of Rs.5,000/-(1st July 2022). Annual subscription for this category is Rs. 500/-
Online Payment of Fee/Subscriptions
Members and subscribers can pay the Fee & Journal Subscriptions through Net Banking.
It is requested that depositor must enter his/her name and payment reference in Sender’s detail to make timely settlement of remits. Also send a payment receipt/screenshot to membership@mefindia.org
